Barry Farm Design Book

The DC Legacy Project met with former residents of Barry Farm and some residents from the broader Ward 8 from September of 2022 to January of 2023. The goal of these sessions was to honor the legacy of the historic community that sat on the hallowed grounds of Barry Farm. Across five events the community honored their history and imagined what a future for the Barry Farm Historic Landmark site could be.

This Design Resource Booklet, prepared by To Be Done Studio, is a visual manifestation of the hopes and dreams of the former residents of Barry Farm and the ancestral inhabitants of that space.
