DC Legacy Project wins Paul E. Buchanan Award

On May 17, DC Legacy Project was presented with the Vernacular Architecture Forum’s 2023 Paul E. Buchanan Award for the award-winning film Barry Farm: Community, Land, and Justice in Washington DC, developed in partnership with The Bertelsmann Foundation.

Since 1993, this award has honored outstanding vernacular architecture and cultural landscape projects within a wide range of formats, other than published books or articles.

Attendees at the VAF conference in Plymouth, Massachusetts, were given an opportunity to view the full documentary.
